The Governor of the Stae of Valle in Colombia, recognized Dr. R. Cuero with the higher honor with the Medal of the Great Gentleman Simon Bolivar, for his outstanding scientific accomplishments and contribution to the society. They also established the Forum of Science on his name. 2005
